Job summary

bp retail is seeking temporary Customer Service Assistant roles for a 6-week initial duration. Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail setting and contribute to customer satisfaction through service at till, beverage preparation, stock management, and promotions.

Training will be provided on the job and online to develop the necessary skills for the role. Applicants must be 16+ and ready to work in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• No previous retail experience required; on- the-job and online training provided.
• Must be 16 years or older to apply.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues and customers in line with bp policies.
• Serve customers and operate the till.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food from Wild Bean Café.
• Stock management including deliveries, replenishing stock and rotation.
• Promote bp offers, promotions and loyalty scheme.
• Carry out cleaning duties in store, facilities, and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving our customers and operating the till
• Preparing and serving beverage and food items from our Wild Bean Café
• Stock management – from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s many offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.
