Job summary

bp retail is hiring temporary Customer Service Assistants for an initial 6-week duration. We’re seeking people who enjoy delivering friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment, and who are ready to learn with on-the-job training.

You will handle till operations, serve Wild Bean Café items, assist with stock deliveries and promotions, and help with cleaning and stock rotation. Applicants aged 16+ are welcome.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• No prior retail experience required; online and on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers in line with bp policies.
• Serving customers and operating the till.
• Preparing and serving beverage and food items from Wild Bean Café.
• Stock management – from deliveries to replenishing the store and stock rotation.
• Proactively supporting bp’s offers, promotions and loyalty scheme.
• Carrying out cleaning duties in store, facilities, and forecourt.

What we are looking for

We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving our customers and operating the till
• Preparing and serving beverage and food items from our Wild Bean Café
• Stock management – from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s many offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.
