Job summary

bp retail is seeking temporary team members for a 6-week opportunity in a fast-paced retail environment. You will serve customers, operate the till, and help with café service at the Wild Bean Café. Training will be provided both online and on the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues and customers in line with bp policies and procedures.
• Serve customers and operate the till.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items from the Wild Bean Café.
• Stock management from deliveries to replenishment and stock rotation.
• Be proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme.
• Carry out cleaning duties in store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving our customers and operating the till
• Preparing and serving beverage and food items from our Wild Bean Café
• Stock management – from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
• Being proactive with supporting bp’s many offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.
