Job summary

BP Retail is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be trained online and on the job to develop the skills needed to excel in customer-facing roles and deliver excellent service.

In this role you will prioritize safety, support bp’s promotions and loyalty programs, and assist in handling food and beverage service at the Wild Bean Café while contributing to a friendly and inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• Candidates have a passion for customer service and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• No prior retail experience required as training will be provided online and on the job to develop the necessary skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers as a top priority in line with bp policies and procedures.
• Serve customers efficiently and ensure their needs are met promptly and effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment in line with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café.
• Take in deliveries, replenish stock, and handle stock management tasks.
• Be proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme.
• Carry out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.
