Job summary

One Stop, part of Tesco, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team in Salisbury. You will help customers, stock shelves, process payments and keep the store looking welcoming.

You will work across all areas of the store, follow training to keep everyone safe, and contribute to a great shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

Know customers and serve them with passion and pride, delivering great natural service.
Encourage customers to provide feedback via the Have Your Say survey.
Work across all store areas (online, tills, replenishment, vending, stock) to meet customer needs.
Apply training to work safely.
Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to foster inclusivity.
Understand store performance and contribute to profitability.
Live Tesco values, create welcoming environment, follow policies.
Clock in/out accurately to ensure correct hours.
Follow safety procedures and wear equipment to keep everyone safe.
Adhere to Think 25 policy for age-restricted products.
Respond quickly to assistance on self-service checkouts and explain steps to customers.
Maintain clean, tidy, organized store; keep aisles clear.
May run shift in absence of supervisor.
Follow training to keep team and store safe and compliant.
Post Office Local duties include background checks; offer may be withdrawn if checks fail.
