Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a fast-paced retail team. You will be at the heart of daily store operations, delivering friendly service, stocking shelves, and processing payments while maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will work across store areas, engage with customers, and uphold safety and company policies. If the store has a Post Office Local, duties may include related checks and procedures, with appropriate background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Stock shelves and assist with store merchandising.
• Process customer payments accurately at tills and POS.
• Ensure store is clean, tidy and well-presented at all times.
• Follow safety procedures and policies to keep staff and customers safe.
• Assist with any post office duties if the store has a Post Office Local and complete required checks.
