Job summary

Sainsbury’s in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Assistant to bring energy to our fast-paced stores and deliver friendly service that helps customers find what they need.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team, assisting with shelf replenishment, order picking and point-of-sale interactions, while using digital tools to enhance the customer experience and learn more about products and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be over the school-leaver age in the country.
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Customer-focused service orientation.
• Willingness to work across the store and assist with stock.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first and make them feel valued with friendly, helpful service.
• Be ready to help wherever needed: filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling products.
• Use digital tools to perform tasks and enhance customer experience.
• Help organise and move stock, keep shelves tidy and accessible, and handle heavy loads.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to confidently recommend items.
