Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Thanet store in Ramsgate. The role is 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71 and immediate start available. Shifts include early morning to evening, with some weekend work and potential overtime to increase hours.

Cleaners will perform daily tasks to keep the store clean and safe, use cleaning machinery, and uphold health and safety standards. Training is provided by Arcus.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on the job training is provided.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Smartphone with NFC to access Arcus Connect App is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards in Sainsbury's stores.
• Operate cleaning machinery and carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
• Occasionally clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or ovens canopies indoors.
• Keep trolley bays outside clean and free of leaves and debris; follow health and safety procedures.
• Arcus will provide full training.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Thanet store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 11:00 to 14:00
• Monday: 12:00 to 17:00
• Tuesday: 12:00 to 17:00
• Wednesday: 12:00 to 17:00
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday: Day off
• Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
