Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Lewes Road store in Brighton. This role offers 15 hours per week at a rate of £12.71 per hour and an immediate start.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks across the store, follow health and safety procedures, and support the team with flexible early-morning shifts, including weekends.

Experience is beneficial but on-the-job training is provided, and smartphone access via NFC is required to use the Arcus Connect App.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Lewes Road store on a permanent basis. 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery

• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
