Job summary

Arcus FM is recruiting in-store cleaners for Sainsbury's Kelso on a permanent basis with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available.

Shifts total 24 hours per week across two blocks, with early mornings and evenings; weekend work and overtime opportunities may apply. Training will be provided and cleaners perform daily tasks to keep stores clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit twopart time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Kelso store on a permanent basis, both with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift patterns for this role is:

24 hours per week

Sunday: 06:00 to 10:00

Monday: 06:00 to 10:00

Tuesday: 06:00 to 10:00

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: 06:00 to 10:00

Friday: 06:00 to 10:00

Saturday: 06:00 to 10:00

24 hours per week

Sunday: 15:00 to 19:00

Monday: 15:00 to 19:00

Tuesday: 15:00 to 19:00

Wednesday: 15:00 to 19:00

Thursday: 15:00 to 19:00

Friday: Day off

Saturday: 15:00 to 19:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
