Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Wantage store, offering 14 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with an immediate start.

The role includes a variety of shifts (early morning, morning, afternoon, evening) with potential overtime to increase hours. Training will be provided to ensure high cleaning standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App (required).

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and carry out cleaning activities (mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping).
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and ovens canopy when in-store.
• Maintain trolley bays outside, free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are applied.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Wantage store on a permanent basis. 14 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 10:30 to 14:30

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 09:30 to 14:30

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: 09:30 to 14:30

Friday: Day off

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?
