Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In-Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Clitheroe store. You will work 14.5 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with immediate start available.

Shifts cover early mornings, with 5-6 day patterns and weekend work. Tasks include standard cleaning, operating basic machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping and maintaining hygiene standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operating cleaning machinery.
• Carrying out cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to maintain high cleanliness.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when required.
• Cleaning exterior areas such as trolley bays and ensuring area is free of leaves and debris.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Clithroe store on a permanent basis. 14.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 07:00 - 10:00
• Monday: 06:0 - 8:30
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Wednesday: Day Off
• Thursday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Friday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Saturday: 06:00 - 09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
