Job description

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury's stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

1. Operating machinery
2. Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
3. Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies.
4. Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
5. Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied.

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied. An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service, is required.

This role is 21 hours per week with an hourly rate of £11.44. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week, and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6-day working available. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 - 08:30
• Monday: 05:00 - 08:30
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: 05:00 - 08:30
• Thursday: 05:00 - 08:30
• Friday: 05:00 - 08:30
• Saturday: 05:00 - 08:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
