Job summary

Synchronicity Care Limited (SCL) operates the retail catering service at University Hospital North Durham. The role focuses on serving beverages and food items in on-site retail outlets, while ensuring high standards of customer care and compliance with hygiene regulations.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Retail in delivering a professional catering service, including cleaning duties, log temperatures, and operating the EPOS till. Shifts include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends.
• Able to follow clear instructions and maintain hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and food items in all retail catering outlets at University Hospital North Durham.
• Operate EPOS till and restock areas.
• Log food and fridge temperatures in line with policy.
• Clean equipment, containers, crockery and cutlery used for staff and visitors.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
