Job summary

Primark Canterbury is seeking a Retail Assistant for part-time, fixed-term work. Location: Canterbury. Pay £13 per hour. 10 hours per week with varied weekend shifts. Contract ends 31/10/2026.

As a Retail Assistant you’ll deliver a great customer experience, keep the shop floor attractive, handle till transactions, and assist with deliveries and pricing to maintain high standards. Equality and inclusion are emphasised in our culture.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a well-presented shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms to showcase the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly till experience, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and pricing new deliveries, ensuring products reach the shop floor meeting high standards.

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
