Retail Assistant – Part Time, 16 hours

We are seeking a new retail assistant for our shop in Rhyl, Denbighshire. This is a permanent part-time position offering a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

• Age-dependent pay: £10.10 per hour for ages 16-20, and £12.31 per hour for 21+

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assist customers in finding products
• Provide quick and friendly service at the tills, assist with packing, and thank customers
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, restocking shelves and freezers efficiently
• Work with team members to maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness

Requirements:

• Friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to stay busy and adapt to various tasks such as stocking, serving, cleaning, and stock rotation
• Reliability as part of a small team
• Flexibility with shifts, with planning three weeks in advance and consideration for outside commitments
