Retail Assistant – Part Time, 8 hours

We are seeking a retail assistant for our shop in Penicuik, Midlothian. This is a permanent part-time position involving a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours over 2 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay depends on age:

• 16-20 years: £10.10 per hour
• 21+ years: £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assist customers in finding products
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing and polite farewells
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, restocking shelves and freezers efficiently
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness with the team
