Retail Assistant - Part Time, 8 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Whitburn Road, Bathgate. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

As a retail assistant, you will:

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assist customers in finding products
• Provide quick and friendly service at the tills, including packing and courteous farewells
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, restocking shelves and freezers efficiently
• Work with your team to keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, hardworking attitude
• Enjoy staying busy with various tasks from stocking to serving customers and cleaning
• Reliability as part of a small team
• Flexibility to work different shifts, with planning three weeks in advance, considering your outside commitments
