Finisterre is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager for our Newcastle store. You will deputise for the Store Manager, lead a small team, and deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets and KPIs.

You will train staff, manage stock and merchandising, and build community connections to drive authentic brand experiences. The role offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team within a premium apparel brand.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to support Store Manager at the Newcastle store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, experiential customer service and educate customers on products.
• Share ownership of store targets and drive sales and KPIs.
• Build relationships with local community and run in-store events.
• Train staff on stock handling, merchandising, and store operations.
• Represent Finisterre brand values and coach the team to perform.
• Monitor store performance metrics and implement commercial improvements.
