Job summary

Superdrug is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Designate in Leicester to travel between stores in the area and support where you're needed most. This role is designed to help you grow towards a permanent store placement.

You'll work alongside the store manager to recruit and motivate a team, drive sales through promotions and merchandising, and ensure operational excellence across audits and stock control. The position is full-time with 39 hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail management experience.
• Passion for customer service and sales.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of hitting targets.
• Willingness to perform piercing services with full training (optional).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Location: 25 Humberstone Gate, Haymarket Towers, Leicester, Leicestershire LE1 1WA

Designate Role - willing to travel within 1 hour of your base store until assigned a permanent location.

Hours per Week: 39 hours

Shift pattern: Full-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, will be discussed further at interview.

Salary: £33,450.00 - £35,000.00 per annum

The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager Designate, you'll travel between different stores in your area, supporting where you're needed most. It's a great way to meet new teams, build your skills, and enjoy plenty of variety in your day. You won't be on the move forever though-this role is designed to help you grow, with the goal of moving into a permanent store and developing your career.

Day to day you'll work alongside the store manager to:

About you

• Bringing fresh ideas from your previous experience in retail management, ideally 1+ years

• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a love for hitting targets.
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers - with full training provided (Optional)
• This role involves travel across stores in the area; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
