Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking a capable Assistant Store Manager for our Altrincham shop in Greater Manchester. This full-time role covers a 43-hour week across 5 days, including weekends, with salary between £31,449.60 and £35,306.88 per annum. Benefits include 30 days holiday and a 15% staff discount across 300+ shops.

You will support the shop manager, coach a small retail team, and help manage costs while ensuring excellent customer service. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• People-oriented; strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy in a small team.
• Experience as a manager, supervisor or team lead.

Responsibilities

• Work with the shop manager to run an efficient store and deliver great customer service.
• Coach and mentor retail staff; provide feedback and development.
• Be responsible for shop operations in the manager's absence and ensure smooth deliveries and routines.
