Job summary

eXPD8 is recruiting a Retail Merchandiser for Lerwick. The role involves visiting stores on a schedule to set up and maintain product displays, following planograms, and ensuring displays meet safety and company standards.

You will take photos, write brief reports, and build good relationships with store staff while representing the company professionally. The position is part‑time (5 hours/week) with flexible start times on Monday and Thursday AM.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service.
• Good at organizing work and managing time.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for reporting.
• Understand health and safety basics.

What You Will Do:

• Visit assigned stores on schedule to set up and maintain product displays
• Follow instructions (planograms) and client guidelines for each visit
• Make sure displays look great, are safe, and meet company and legal standards
• Take clear photos and write short reports after each visit using company systems
• Let your Team Leader know if you run into problems (like missing stock or access issues)
• Build good relationships with store staff and represent the company professionally
• Keep up with any required training or certifications
• Complete all store visits on time
• Follow instructions and keep displays looking their best

What You will Need:

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service
• Good at organizing your own work and managing your time
• Comfortable working on your own and following instructions
