Job summary

National Gallery Global Limited is seeking a full-time Retail Assistant (x2) on a fixed-term contract until 11 April 2027. You will join the Retail team to deliver excellent customer service, drive sales and contribute to meeting store targets in a dynamic gallery environment.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in a commercial retail setting, a genuine love of selling, and an interest in art. Interviews are scheduled for 7 October.

National Gallery Global is looking for a x 2 Full-time Retail Assistant to join the Retail team. This would be from on a fixed-term contract till 11th April 2027.

National Gallery Global Limited (NGG) is a commercial company established to provide revenue for the National Gallery from a range of operations including Retail, Publishing, Loyalty, Sales and Ticketed Experiences, and Hospitality and Events. Our work enhances the visitor experience and helps to safeguard some of the country’s most valuable works of art.

The Retail team makes a key contribution towards achieving the commercial objectives of NGG. The ideal candidate for this role will:

• Have proven experience in a commercial retail environment
• A genuine love of selling, together with excellent customer service skills
• Be sales focused and motivated to achieving store targets without hard selling
• Have an interest in art and art history is an advantage
