Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Birmingham is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract until 2 January 2027. The role is part-time (12–16 hours per week) with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Availability required from 5:00 in the morning until 21:00 in the evening. In this role you will help customers, keep the shop floor looking inviting, assist with till queries and returns, and unpack deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floor that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products onto the sales floor and correctly priced, while meeting high standards.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Fixed term contract until 2nd January 2027
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 12-16 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
