Job summary

Primark Birmingham is seeking a Retail Assistant for a temporary, part-time role. You will help customers with sizes, styles and returns, maintain an attractive shop floor, and manage till transactions with a focus on fast, friendly service.

The role includes handling deliveries and ensuring accurate pricing and presentation. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with shifts including evenings and weekends, 20 hours per week, and a contract end date of 2 January 2027.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
