Job summary

Primark Leicester is seeking a Retail Assistant for a part-time, temporary role. Shifts range from mornings to evenings and weekends, with 8–20 hours per week. The position offers a competitive rate of £13 per hour and the chance to join a busy, fashion-forward team.

You will help customers, keep the store looking great, handle tills, and support deliveries and pricing accuracy. Training and development pathways are available.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: must be aged 18+ where required by hours, and have right to work in the UK.
• Flexible, customer‑facing attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a positive experience at tills, on the sales floor, and during returns.
• Keep the shop floor tidy and well merchandised with accurately priced products.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries and ensure products are ready for sale.
• Deliver fast, friendly service across varied shifts.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
