Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to help customers and maintain an appealing store environment. You will work 20 hours per week with two contract patterns: 11:00–15:00, Monday to Friday, and 06:00–10:00 shifts, with a salary of £13.11 per hour. The fixed-term contract ends on 24 December 2026.

You’ll be part of a team delivering excellent service, handling till transactions, and restocking on a busy shop floor while adhering to store standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over for shifts that start before 6:00am or after 11:00pm where required by law.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases or returns to create a positive shopping experience.
• Keep the shop floor tidy with full shelves and well-presented fitting rooms and sales areas.
• Process till transactions, handle queries, voids and returns efficiently.
• Receive and check deliveries and price products for the sales floor.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
