About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

• Serving trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales.
• Picking relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
• Assisting the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
• Satisfying customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
• Contributing to a positive team environment and working towards personal and sales targets.
• Using the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy customer-facing area.
• Building strong relationships with customers to understand their garage needs.
• Representing the company professionally and upholding its values.
• Working towards relevant KPIs.

Working hours:

Approximately 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Proven experience in customer service or retail within a customer-facing role.
• Motivated and target-driven.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to resolving customer queries.
• Confident in using IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
