Job summary

TUI is offering a two-year Apprenticeship Scheme in Exeter to train you as a Travel Advisor. You will develop as a destination expert, recommend and sell holidays, cruises, UK breaks and related products, while learning through a structured apprenticeship and in-store training.

You will gain hands-on experience in a customer-facing role, supported by a learning coach and manager to achieve a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification and progress within the Retail team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong customer service mindset and a passion for travel/tourism.
• Willing to work toward Level 3 Travel Consultant apprenticeship qualification.
• Able to learn and adapt through online learning and in-store training.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and colleagues with enthusiasm for holidays and travel products.
• Aim to exceed sales targets and deliver excellent customer service in a retail environment.
• Handle customer questions and complaints, both face-to-face and online.
• Receive training on a range of systems to enhance knowledge and confidence in assisting customers.
• Complete practical and written assignments via the online learning platform with guidance from manager and learning coach.
• Progress toward a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification during the two-year apprenticeship.

• Good knowledge of excellent customer service and a genuine passion to work within tourism

• Grade 9 – 4 GCSE or equivalent in both English and Maths
• Able to work a varied shift pattern each week in-line with shop opening and closing times.
