Job summary

Falkirk Council in Falkirk is seeking a confident, organised individual to support a team delivering an exceptional customer experience for site visitors. You will participate in full range retail functions, including shop presentation, stock control via EPOS reporting, and merchandising plans.

The role is based predominantly at The Helix, with duties at other locations as required. It is a part-time, permanent position (30 hours per week) with core hours 8am–2pm, Monday to Friday, and includes

• Assist with shop presentation and merchandising
• Use EPOS reporting to maintain stock supply
• Share information on new ranges and promotions with sales floor teams
• Support Visitor Services Supervisor with procedures and team training
• Carry out changes and seasonal stock rollovers as required

Job description

We are looking for a confident and organised individual who can work with a team delivering an exceptional customer experience for site visitors. You will assist in the full range of retail functions, including shop presentation, using EPOS reporting to maintain stock supply, implement merchandising plans and complete seasonal stock changeovers. You will liaise with the sales floor teams to share information about new ranges and promotions and assist the Visitor Services Supervisor in implementing new procedures and team training.

While predominantly based at The Helix, you will be expected to work at other locations as required.

The post is part time, permanent (30hrs per week). The core hours are Monday - Friday during normal office hours. Five days per week 8am to 2pm.
