Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trust Resuscitation Manager to lead the organisation's resuscitation programme, ensuring safe, evidence-based emergency care across services.

You will provide strategic leadership, operational management and educational oversight, developing high-quality education programmes and standards while aligning with national guidelines and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced resuscitation expertise and leadership in acute care settings.
• Experience in education development for clinical staff.
• Strong governance, audit and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Resuscitation Team including line management and workforce planning.
• Lead resuscitation governance with audits, risk management and reporting to senior committees.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate resuscitation education programmes (ILS, simulation, competency assessment).
• Act as the Trust's expert adviser on resuscitation and deteriorating patient care across services.
• Lead review and implementation of resuscitation policies and clinical guidelines.
• Drive quality improvement through audit, research, and simulation initiatives.
• Oversee Cardiac arrest audit programme and equipment governance.
• Provide procurement advice and governance for resuscitation equipment.
• Build multidisciplinary relationships with clinical, operational and executive colleagues.
• Represent the Trust regionally and nationally to influence future resuscitation development.
