Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the principal contact within delegated areas for assigned cases, handling day-to-day matters.
  • Perform duties efficiently, thoroughly, and in compliance with legal, statutory, and firm procedures.
  • Contribute to case progression, manage your work stream, prioritize tasks, and inform the team of developments.
  • Prepare statutory notices, assist with report writing, and meet deadlines.
  • Help prepare fee estimates, proposals, and obtain creditor approval.
  • Create reports for key stakeholders and assist with investigations to meet SIP2 and CDDA requirements.
  • Maintain receipts and payments accounts, prepare vouchers, and update the case cashbook.
  • Assist with VAT returns and attend meetings, documenting discussions and action points.
  • Contribute to case strategy, document key decisions, and prepare case reviews.
  • Liaise with tax teams for VAT, PAYE, and CT compliance.
  • Keep case checklists and diaries updated, handle creditor queries, and assist with company record compliance.
  • Support asset realization processes, liaising with agents and solicitors, and update control schedules.
  • Assist with marketing when a business is offered for sale.
Person Specification
  • Experience in corporate insolvency work.
  • Proficiency in IPS and Microsoft Office programs.
  • CPA or ACA qualification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements for Administrations and understanding of insolvent liquidations.
  • Good knowledge of insolvency legislation and current case law.
  • Ability to prepare estimated outcome statements and control schedules.
  • Experience in producing statutory reports in insolvency cases.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and accuracy skills.
  • Ability to identify issues, conduct research, and suggest solutions.
