Job summary

KMA Legal Recruitment is seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate/Senior Associate (4–8 PQE) to join its London team. You will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters with emphasis on non-contentious work for clients across the UK and cross-border engagements.

The role involves advising on insolvency, distressed M&A and director's duties, with significant responsibility from day one and opportunities to lead transactions and develop the practice.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency law.
• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising on restructuring and insolvency matters for lenders, directors, investors and corporates.
• Advising on distressed M&A transactions on buy-side and sell-side
• Advising boards of large corporates and startups through periods of financial stress
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating restructuring and insolvency documents
