Role Overview

We are seeking a Restructuring and Insolvency Senior Associate to join our client’s high-performing Deals team, within the Deal Integration and Valuation Realisation function. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, cross-border restructuring, insolvency, and transaction engagements—particularly within the financial services sector—alongside senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver restructuring and insolvency assignments from planning to completion
• Prepare and present financial analyses, valuations, and reports
• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timelines and quality standards
• Contribute to post-deal integration and value realisation strategies
• Identify and address risks or issues during engagements
• Build strong client relationships and support stakeholder communication
• Mentor junior team members and support their technical development
• Use market tools to extract insights and inform decision-making
• Apply structured communication to influence outcomes
• Continuously seek feedback and development opportunities

Key Requirements

• Minimum3 years’ experience in corporate insolvency & restructuring, ideally in professional services
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification required
• A recognised insolvency qualification (e.g., JIEB, CIRP) is advantageous
• Solid knowledge of insolvency law in common law jurisdictions; cross-border experience a plus
• Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and conflict management skills
• Ethical, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
