Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a motivated Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration for residential and commercial properties. You will handle water extraction, drying, and fire/smoke mitigation, using specialty equipment and moisture readings.

The role requires physical labor, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls. Join a team dedicated to project execution with on-call coverage and opportunities for IICRC certification

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup a plus.
• IICRC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers).
• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents.
• Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services.
