Sedgwick is hiring a Restoration Surveyor to operate in the Midlands or Southern England on a permanent basis. You will assess damaged commercial and domestic properties, report on restoration needs, and manage drying processes.

The role offers hybrid working from office or home and requires strong communication under pressure. Ideal candidates have a BDMA accreditation, a full UK driving licence, and solid knowledge of building construction and restoration practices.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• BDMA/Dewpoint accreditation preferred.
• Insurance knowledge desirable, along with restoration or repair of water/fire damaged properties.

Responsibilities

• Technical reporting on restoration projects.
• Defects diagnosis and assessment.
• Managing the drying process and project workflow.
• Collaborating with the restoration network to find best solutions for claims.
• Managing workload and making decisions under pressure.
