Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes is expanding its Restaurant Team and seeking friendly, energetic individuals to deliver memorable dining experiences. This is a permanent, full-time role with 40 hours per week, split shifts, and weekends/bank holidays.

Pay depends on age, with rates of £12.71 per hour for 21+, and £10.85 per hour for ages 18–20. Join a dynamic team at one of the UK’s most beautiful resort settings.

Qualifications

• Previous waiting experience is a bonus, but not essential — full training is provided
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards
• A friendly, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for hospitality
• Team player who’s always willing to get stuck in

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure every dining experience feels welcoming and memorable. This includes taking orders and answering menu queries.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally, keeping service smooth during busy periods.
• Ensure dining areas, tables, and utensils remain clean, tidy, and sanitised. Clear plates, reset tables, and support overall cleanliness.
• Work closely with colleagues and communicate effectively with the kitchen team to keep service running seamlessly.
• Follow all hygiene, food handling, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, high-quality environment for guests and team members.
