Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to deliver warm, attentive service and create memorable dining experiences in a countryside setting. This is a part-time role with 20–30 hours per week in a team-focused environment.

You will work Friday dinner service, split shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday breakfast service, with breakfast, lunch and dinner windows specified. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required due to location.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Experience in waiting is a plus but training is available.
• Ability to work under pressure and keep service running smoothly.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Team player who helps out as needed.

Restaurant Team Member – Potters Resorts Five Lakes

As the days grow cooler and the evenings draw in, Potters Resorts Five Lakes is inviting passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as aRestaurant Team Member. Set in the heart of the Essex countryside, our resort provides the perfect backdrop to create unforgettable dining experiences while working in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide warm, attentive service to guests, greeting them with a smile and ensuring every dining experience is memorable.

Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals and drinks efficiently, keeping our guests comfortable and well looked after throughout their visit.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations spotless and ready for guests, ensuring hygiene and presentation standards are always met.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service and clear communication.

Health & Safety: Follow all food handling, cleanliness, and safety standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Hours:
This is a part-time position, working 20–30 hours per week.

You will work every Friday dinner service, split shifts Saturday & Sunday, and Monday breakfast service.

Breakfast: 08:15 – 11:30

Lunch: 12:15 – 15:00

Dinner: 18:15 – 22:00

Rates of Pay:

£12.71 per hour (Aged 21+)

£10.85 per hour (Aged 18–20)
