About the Role

As a Restaurant Shift / Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading a dynamic team, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role requires a positive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about coffee and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

• Lead by example, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Maintain operational efficiency through effective staff scheduling.
• Conduct regular store walks to ensure a top-notch customer experience.

People Management

• Encourage team suggestions and address concerns.
• Provide performance feedback, set goals, and support staff development.
• Create a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Driving Sales

• Understand sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure proper product merchandising and marketing execution.
• Coach staff on upselling techniques.

Operations

• Monitor KPIs such as sales, staff turnover, and safety standards.
• Manage stock levels, equipment maintenance, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in restaurant management or similar roles.
• Flexible, disciplined, and team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Experience handling customer complaints is desirable.
