Key Responsibilities

As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with responsibilities including:

Customer Service

• Leading by example, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining a customer-focused approach in all operations.
• Accurate staff scheduling to meet demand.
• Supporting operational efficiency and conducting regular store walks.

People

• Encouraging staff suggestions and addressing concerns.
• Providing performance feedback, setting goals, and offering support.
• Fostering a positive team environment, ensuring dignity and respect for all employees, and working with HR on performance management.

Driving Sales

• Understanding sales patterns, popular products, and peak times.
• Ensuring proper product merchandising and supporting marketing campaigns.
• Coaching staff on upselling and suggestive selling.
• Identifying areas for improvement and motivating staff through incentives.

Operations

• Monitoring KPIs such as sales, staff turnover, food safety, and health & safety standards.
• Maintaining operational standards, cleanliness, and food hygiene.
• Managing stock orders and equipment maintenance.
• Overseeing opening and closing procedures.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and reporting incidents promptly.
• Working flexible shifts as part of the management team.

Key Requisites

• Previous experience managing restaurants.
• Flexible and disciplined work approach.
• Experience in food environments is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• High standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Experience handling customer complaints.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
