Job summary

McDonalds is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead NEXT reinvestment projects across the restaurant estate in the UK. You will manage the full lifecycle, coordinate design, budgets and schedules, and work with franchisees, designers, QS’s, contractors, IT and Finance.

This role requires autonomous leadership, strong cost control and the ability to drive high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

• 7 yrs construction project management experience or fitout background.
• RICS/CIOB/APM certification preferred.
• Able to work autonomously and lead project teams.
• Strong cost management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of NEXT reinvestment construction projects.
• Engage with Franchisees, Crew, Designers, QSs, Contractors and other departments.
• Coordinate and supervise detailed design activities.
• Challenge project costs to ensure best value for franchisees.
• Monitor programmes and ensure timely delivery; report variances.
