Job summary

Moksha of New Malden Limited is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient business performance, and full compliance with UK food safety legislation.

You will lead staff, plan rosters, manage budgets and stock, monitor quality and service standards, handle supplier negotiations, and implement campaigns to boost sales and guest satisfaction while maintaining hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with UK Food Safety legislation and health & safety standards.
• Lead and develop restaurant staff, including rosters and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening/closing procedures and daily cash handling.
• Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards.
• Prepare budgets and control labour and operating costs.
• Place orders with approved suppliers and manage stock levels.
• Develop promotional campaigns and seasonal offers to boost sales.
• Prepare weekly/monthly management reports and KPI analysis.
