Job summary

Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Restaurant Manager at Banks on the Wear in Sunderland, to lead a team of waiters and supervisors and deliver guest service excellence in a premium setting at Stadium of Light. You will work with a two-Michelin-star Chef to create memorable experiences for matchdays and events.

No degree is required, but proven leadership of large teams in fine-dining hospitality and strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and leading large teams in a fine-dining hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of the fine-dining and Food & Beverage industry, preferably within hospitality and catering environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift responsibilities of Restaurant Waiters and Supervisors within a premium setting.
• Support with the training, development, motivation, and monitoring of team members, ensuring teams are up to date with the evolving à la carte menu.
• Appropriately address all guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate knowledge of all restaurant and menu information.
• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence.

The opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring casual a Restaurant Manager at Banks on the Wear to join our team at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As Restaurant Manager at Banks on the Wear, you will be leading a team of waiters and supervisors to deliver guest service excellence at our restaurant created alongside two-Michelin-star Chef, Tommy Banks. If you are the Banks on the Wear Manager we are looking for, ready to lead high-quality service and premium guest experiences, take a shot at your career with us.

Pay

The expected pay for this role is £19.89 / hour

What will you do?
