Job summary
William Strike Ltd. in Burnside Garden Centre is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will manage front and back of house operations, drive sales through menu knowledge, and maintain top service standards while ensuring food hygiene compliance.
The role involves 45 hours per week over five days, with weekend work but no evenings or split shifts, and a competitive salary based on experience. Parking and staff benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Experience managing a large hospitality team.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety.
- Experience with stock management and GP targets.
- Ability to plan rotas within budget.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front of house setup and back of house operation to ensure service readiness.
- Lead and coach front of house team to deliver welcoming, efficient service.
- Drive sales by training staff on menus and counter displays.
- Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
- Plan staff rotas and holidays within cost and service targets.
- Monitor stock and conduct weekly counts to achieve GP targets.
- Motivate and develop the team to deliver with enthusiasm.
