Our inviting venue boasts a rooftop restaurant where the day begins with an incredible breakfast, followed by a luxurious small-plate sharing concept from midday until late. As the Restaurant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless operations at Rockwater. Your responsibilities will include leading the team to deliver high standards of customer service while maintaining excellent health and hygiene standards.

• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, and cleanliness through staff training and maintaining a positive, productive environment.
• Ensure all staff deliver the “Rockwater Experience” consistently, following Waves of Service standards from welcome to farewell.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Keep front of house equipment clean and in excellent condition through inspections and reporting issues.
• Manage guest complaints effectively, resolving issues to leave guests satisfied and escalating when necessary.
• Delegate stock control responsibilities appropriately and follow up to ensure proper management.
• Comply with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene standards.
• Maximise sales opportunities through appropriate upselling.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Rockwater’s offerings, including the Openwater subscription.
• Coordinate with the kitchen regarding menu availability and modifications.
• Ensure new staff are fully trained and integrated into the team.
• Lead by example, motivating the team through feedback and incentives.
• Take ownership of the venue when the AGM/GM is unavailable.
• Build rapport with members, regulars, and VIP guests.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Manager or AGM in a high-volume venue.
• Experience managing large teams.
