About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and make their dining dreams a reality, providing a fun and enjoyable 5* experience. You will:

  • Maintain standards of service throughout the Brasserie as laid down by the Manager;
  • Ensure productivity levels and sales are optimized;
  • Interview staff and make selection decisions;
  • Identify training requirements, and organize and follow through on on-job training;
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained to required levels;
  • Handle customer queries and complaints;
  • Provide expert advice whilst achieving maximum sales and delivering memorable customer experiences;
  • Be devoted to our customers by providing the highest possible standards of customer service both face to face and over the phone or email;
  • Develop a high level of product knowledge and share your opinions on current and future trends in the hospitality;
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it;
  • Flexibility is a must; customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!

Is this you?

We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and food, and are looking for something uniquely different.

  • Have you done something like this before?
  • You will ideally have a successful high-end bar and restaurant background with proven experience supervising teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the food and beverage industry, especially cocktails (mixologist is a plus).
  • Impeccable command of the English language both written and spoken.
  • Passion for beverage and keeping up to date with latest liquor.
