Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I in Manchester is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to own and drive performance in a high-volume branded restaurant. You’ll lead teams, deliver top standards in guest experience, and ensure strong results across sales and costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, and food cost.
• Develop and motivate your team to grow careers and unleash potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for the site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Maintain energy, culture, and consistent service.
