Job summary

The Emory in Knightsbridge, part of the Maybourne Hotel Group, seeks a Restaurant Director to lead abc kitchens, including the restaurant, bar and courtyard, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Based at The Emory with views of Hyde Park, you will drive service standards, marketing and financial performance across the three spaces, while fostering a collaborative team culture within The Emory & The Berkeley.

Responsibilities

• The Restaurant Director is responsible for the overall leadership, service delivery, marketing and commercial performance of abc kitchens, encompassing abc restaurant, abc bar and abc courtyard.
• The role ensures that all three spaces deliver an exceptional and consistent guest experience while maintaining their individual identity and atmosphere. Through visible leadership, strong operational standards and effective financial management, the Restaurant Director will develop the team, grow the business and uphold the standards of abc kitchens at The Emory.
• To encourage, at every opportunity, collaboration and team work amongst the team and offer support wherever it is required to improve the guest experience. To lead and build a supportive internal culture within The Emory & The Berkeley.

The Emory

Each suite & studio at the hotel is a modern masterpiece, created by a collection of the world’s leading interior and architectural designers. From exceptional contemporary dishes curated from chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten in abc kitchens to panoramic views of London and striking decor in The Emory Rooftop Bar. Spearheaded by world-leading experts, Surrenne is a new paradigm of wellbeing with four floors of immersive health, fitness and beauty services.

The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.

Main duties and responsibilities
