Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Customer Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience across our restaurant and store. You will help customers with transactions, promote Club membership, and provide product guidance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of a team, maintain a clean dining and store area, and handle various store tasks including stock and till work, with opportunities to develop new skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in hospitality.
• Passion for delivering great customer experiences and working as part of a team.
• Ability to stay organized in a busy, fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service across the store and restaurant.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales and loyalty.
• Assist customers with product knowledge, including allergies and dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the store and restaurant areas.
• Contribute to stock handling, till work, and other store tasks as required.

Our Restaurant Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering and exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygience and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service– an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
