Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Customer Advisor to deliver outstanding customer experiences across our Restaurants, while ensuring food hygiene and driving sales. You will help customers with transactions, promote the Dobbies Club, and support in-store operations.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, enjoy working in a team, and bring a can-do attitude. Strong communication and a friendly, proactive approach are essential for success in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in a hospitality or retail setting.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to answer queries including dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service across the store and restaurant areas.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales.
• Assist customers with queries, maintain cleanliness and store upkeep.
• Assist on shopfloor including stock, till work, and cafe/restaurant service.
• Develop product knowledge to support dietary and allergy questions.

Our Restaurant Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering and exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygience and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service– an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
